About AAF Buffalo

Buffalo ad agencies, production houses, in-house marketers, freelancers, artists, students: we've heard a lot about one another, but AAF Buffalo is where we meet each other.

AAF Buffalo is, by formal definition, an advertising club that's a local chapter of the American Advertising Federation, the nation’s oldest and most recognized organization in the advertising industry. But we are so much more than an ad club. We are passionate people from all different marketing, advertising and art backgrounds working to keep the kick-ass creative community here in WNY thriving. Where workshops, and national speakers, and student experiences, and networking events empower your voice and inspire your mind. AAF Buffalo is where students get hired. And where peers have become business partners. And you, no matter what industry level, become better.

The recognition you deserve.

The American Advertising Awards is a competition where companies from across Buffalo are invited to submit work across a wide range of mediums. The competition typically attracts TBD,000 entries every year. Yeah, it's pretty intense.

Industry-related judges from other cities judge the work submitted, and winners are announced at the award show that typically takes place in early-mid March. This is always our biggest event as companies get together to celebrate all their hard work throughout the year.

Winners of the Buffalo competition have the opportunity to submit their work to the national competition for further recognition.

‍

You do have to be a member to submit work, so might as well take advantage of the event discounts by joining now rather than later.
