AAF Joins the Buffalo Pride Parade

We’re proud of another great showing at Buffalo Pride!
On a comfortably hot Sunday, AAF Buffalo joined with folks across upstate New York to celebrate our LGBTQ+ community in Elmwood Village, near the heart of Buffalo’s city center.
Attendees included the Buffalo Bills, The University at Buffalo, M&T Bank, and floats from over 100 other local organizations. Among those floats, you may have spotted Buffalo United, Buffalo’s fastest growing LGBTQ+ friendly flag football league, Buffalo State and Daemen College supporting their student body, and of course, AAF Buffalo, riding high in a crowd that spanned from the north edge of Elmwood Village all the way to Allentown.
With great vibes, free beads and stickers, and classic Buffalo summer weather, it felt as though the whole city had come out to show their support.
The Pride Parade is quickly transforming into one of Buffalo’s great communal parties; an outdoor celebration for the whole family, where roads are shut down to vehicles and huge crowds demonstrate the support our community has for all.
