On Friday, October 3, AAF Buffalo welcomed local students for the annual Student Agency Tour, an immersive afternoon designed to introduce the next generation of creatives to the professional advertising world.

‍

From 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, students traveled through downtown Buffalo visiting three respected agencies, gaining firsthand insight into agency culture, creative processes and potential career paths in marketing and advertising.

‍

Participants had the opportunity to explore the offices and meet professionals at three leading agencies:

  • The Martin Group
  • White Bicycle
  • Mr. Smith Agency

At each stop, agency teams welcomed students inside their workspaces and shared insights into how different departments collaborate to create impactful campaigns. From creative strategy and design to account management and digital marketing, attendees saw how ideas move from concept to execution in real agency environments.

‍

Beyond the tours themselves, one of the most valuable aspects of the event was the opportunity for students to network with professionals already working in the field.

‍

Agency representatives spoke about their own career journeys, shared advice for entering the industry and offered insights into what agencies look for when hiring interns and entry-level creatives. A huge thank you to the professors and agencies who helped make this event possible. We’re excited about the internship and career opportunities to come from events like this.
